SundayRec
Set the schedule once. Every Sunday, SundayRec records the service, transcribes the sermon, streams it live, and publishes to your podcast — all by itself. Free desktop app for Mac and Windows. No subscription, no cloud relay. Your files stay yours.
The whole Sunday, from record to published
One app for a chain many churches solve today with five separate tools.
Scheduled recording
Enter the service times and recording starts and stops automatically — even if the machine is asleep.
Live streaming
Stream to YouTube, Facebook and more at once over RTMP — with overlays and lower-thirds.
AI transcription
Local speech-to-text transcribes the sermon on your own machine — nothing is uploaded.
Built-in editor
Cut, adjust and master the audio with professional loudness normalization before publishing.
NDI receiver
Record straight from ProPresenter, OBS or Keynote over the network — no extra capture card.
Podcast publishing
Upload to YouTube and publish to a podcast RSS with review-before-publish, in one flow.
Local first. Your files never leave the machine — unless you ask.
SundayRec is a desktop app, not a cloud service. Recording, editing and transcription happen on your own machine. If you enable cloud backup to Google Drive or publishing to a podcast host, the app uploads on your behalf — the relationship with that service is yours.
- No analytics, no telemetry
- Backed by over 1000 automated tests
- Seven languages, including Norwegian Bokmål and Nynorsk
Plays well with the rest of Sunday Suite
Status: beta
SundayRec is the mature core of the suite and can be downloaded and used for free today, but it's still in beta. Test your first recordings before relying on it for a critical service. This page on sundaysuite.app is SundayRec's home — there's no separate site to visit; downloads come straight from GitHub.
